Publicly recognized by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), this landmark transaction saw Simplex Legal & Finance structure and secure EUR 55 million in cross-border debt finance and investment for Private Enterprise “Tayfun-Plus”, a leading Western Ukrainian wood processing manufacturer with factories in Ozhydiv and Busk, Lviv region.

The financing powered the modernization of existing lamella manufacturing facilities in Ozhydiv, the construction of new parquet production lines in Busk (both are located in the Lviv region, Ukraine) and financing of the working capital. These projects significantly expanded the client’s production capacity and established it as a premier exporter of premium wood products to the EU market.

During 2021, Simplex Legal & Finance advised Olnova, one of the leading Ukrainian manufacturers of heavy machinery, on its foreign trade transactions with non-residents.

For eight years (2017–2024), Simplex Legal & Finance served as trusted legal partner to Private Enterprise “Tayfun-Plus”, providing full-spectrum counsel on every aspect of the company’s domestic and international operations.

This enduring collaboration supported export growth, major investments, financing transactions, and dispute resolution with consistent excellence.

From 2019 to 2023, Simplex Legal & Finance acted as the trusted tax advisor to Private Enterprise “Tayfun-Plus”, preparing comprehensive transfer pricing documentation and providing strategic guidance on international tax matters for transactions totaling EUR 100 million.

In 2023, Simplex Legal & Finance acted as trusted legal counsel for Football Club Rukh in proceedings before the Dispute Resolution Chamber of the Ukrainian Association of Football (UAF) in a case against Ivan Varfolomeeiev. We successfully secured a complete victory for our Client in domestic arbitration in Ukraine.

In 2023, Simplex Legal & Finance acted as trusted legal counsel for Football Club Rukh in proceedings before the Dispute Resolution Chamber of the FIFA Football Tribunal, successfully defending the club against claims brought by Lassana Faye.

We achieved a significant reduction of the claimant’s demands — from EUR 316,000 down to EUR 24,000 plus 5% interest — delivering a major victory for our Client.

In 2022, Simplex Legal & Finance advised Green Guild Group, a major Ukrainian agricultural producer, on strategic and complex litigation against the Russian Federation for compensation of damages caused by the war.

In 2024–2025, Simplex Legal & Finance represented Wist Sp.z.o.o., a leading Polish agricultural production wholesaler, in an international commercial arbitration against a Ukrainian expediting company.
